The FWC is considering closing permit and
pompano in federal waters for three months. They are proposing
to eliminate the ability of spearfishers to take african pompano
altogether.
All of the proposed restrictions have ZERO
scientific basis or need. They will cost the state of Florida
jobs and money for no good reason. The fish are by all
accounts healthy.
